Privacy policy

This is my personal website. I'm Akshay Reddy Gujjula, based in London, and I'm responsible for any personal data it handles. You can reach me atakshayreddyg07@gmail.com.
The short version
There are no analytics, no advertising and no tracking on this site. The only personal data I receive is what you type into the contact form. Search questions go to TypeSafe to rank the results, as explained below.
The contact form
When you send a message, your name, email address and message are delivered to my inbox through Cloudflare Email Routing. They are not stored in a database on this site. I use them only to reply to you, and I delete the conversation when you ask me to. The legal basis is my legitimate interest in answering messages people choose to send me.
Spam protection
The contact form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to tell people apart from bots. It loads only when you scroll to the form, and it processes technical signals from your browser to make that decision. Cloudflare describes what it collects in theTurnstile privacy addendum.
Search
Single words that match something on the site are handled in your browser. If you type a phrase or question into the search box (Ctrl K), that text is sent toTypeSafe's Jev API, which ranks the pages of this site against it. Only the search text is sent, with nothing that identifies you. To make repeat searches instant, Cloudflare caches each search's ranked results for a day, keyed by the search text; nothing links a search to the person who made it.
Hosting
Cloudflare hosts the site. Like any web host it processes technical information such as your IP address to deliver pages and protect against abuse, as set out inCloudflare's privacy policy.
Storage on your device
This site sets no cookies of its own and stores nothing in your browser.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you can ask to see, correct or delete the personal data I hold about you, or object to how I use it. Email me and I'll respond within a month. If you're unhappy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to theInformation Commissioner's Office.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top changes with it. The full history is public in thesite's repository.
